Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, of Delta State, South-South Nigeria, Tuesday said the Asaba Leisure Park and Film Village being executed by his administration would be ready for inauguration in February 2022. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed the first case of the Omicron variant in the country. Point News247 reports that this was disclosed in a statement issued by the NCDC and signed by the Director-General, Dr, Ifedayo Adetifa. The Lagos State Government has accepted the EndSARS panel’s proposal to declare Oct 20 ‘Toll Free Day’.
