The Nigerian Shippers Council (NSC) has cautioned the Nigeria Police and other agencies at the nation’s ports to stop interfering with the statutory roles of the Nigeria Customs (NCS) at the ports. The Council told the Police and other agencies to stop intercepting and checking goods already cleared by the Customs at the ports. The Executive Secretary/CEO of the NSC, Hon. Assembly wants Sanwo-Olu to meet with State security council over recent killings in Lagos
The Lagos State House of Assembly has called on Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to convene a security council meeting in the State in a bid to stem the rising spate of killings of residents by men in uniform. The Kaduna State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps, (NYSC), Hassan Taura, said that the Federal Government has approved an upward review of feeding allowance for corps members.
