FG approves N180b palliative fund for 36 States
The federal government on Thursday approved N180 billion to be shared by the 36 states of the federation as part of its efforts to alleviate the harsh realities of fuel subsidy removal. This decision was taken at the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting which held today in Abuja. Cyril Ndifon, a Professor and law faculty Dean, has been suspended by the University of Calabar (UNICAL) over allegations of sexual harassment made by female law students who marched on the office of Vice-Chancellor Professor Florence Obi on Monday with embarrassing placards painting Ndifon’s alleged philandering in graphic language.
