The management of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has handed over the leased site at the Continental Shipyard Limited (CSL) of the Nigerian Ports Authority ( NPA) to the technical partners, Melsmore. The remains of a yet-to-be-identified man who jumped into the lagoon in the Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge area of Lagos State has been recovered. This was confirmed in a statement by the Head, Public Education of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Services, Amodu Shakiru. The Lagos State House of Assembly Ad hoc Committee has visited those whose buildings were demolished by the State Task Force in Mosafejo Oworonshoki Community. The committee led by its Chairman, Mr Nureni Akinsanya visited the area for an on-the-spot assessment of the demolished buildings on Tuesday.
