President Bola Tinubu has inaugurated the presidential committee on fiscal policy and tax reforms. The inauguration ceremony was held at the State House in Abuja on Tuesday. Following the death of a medical doctor, Vwaere Diaso, inside an elevator at the Lagos General Hospital, Odan, the State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has approved the immediate and indefinite suspension of the Lagos State Infrastructure and Asset Management Agency (LASIAMA) boss, Adenike Adekanbi. A first-class traditional ruler in Nasarawa State, the Emir of Gurku, Jibrin Mohammed, and his wife, has been abducted. The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ramhan Nansel, confirmed the incident to journalists.
