President Bola Tinubu has inaugurated the presidential committee on fiscal policy and tax reforms. The inauguration ceremony was held at the State House in Abuja on Tuesday. The Special Adviser to the President on Special Duties, Communications and Strategy, Dele Alake, in a statement on July 7 announced the establishment of the committee by the president. A first-class traditional ruler in Nasarawa State, the Emir of Gurku, Jibrin Mohammed, and his wife, has been abducted. The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ramhan Nansel, confirmed the incident to journalists. The National Assembly has denied former Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir EL-Rufai confirmation on Monday for his failure to pass security checks. Out of the 48 nominations for ministerial positions that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu sent to the Senate, 45 have been confirmed.
