Intimidating number of Charles Olisa Political dynasty met at the instance of the principal of the political group who is the Commissioner representing Ndokwa Nation on the board of DESOPADEC, Dr Charles Olisa.
At the well attended meeting which had participants drawn from the twenty DSIEC wards in Ndokwa East LGA, and other local government areas in Delta North senatorial district, Dr Charles Olisa was assured that with his style and quality of leadership, every member of the political family will continue to pitch their tent with him and the People’s Democratic Party. Speaker after speaker noted that the commissioner has continued to give them reasons to keep identifying with him, especially with his open door policy, prompt replies to chats and text messages, taking of calls, and addressing their concerns to the best of his abilities.
Responding, Dr Charles Olisa, thanked them for always responding in good numbers to his invitations. He told them that the ‘People’s Democratic Party remained the strongest, safest, fastest and most reliable vehicle to travel in to arrive at the political destinations we desire.’ Furthermore, he said the the drivers of the political vehicle of the PDP in the state in the persons of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and the the deputy governor, Sir Monday Onyeme, as well as the other leaders, were ‘tested and trusted hands armed with the necessary experiences and skills needed to safely navigate the windy, sloppy and bump-riddled political terrains we find ourselves.’ He assured them of an interesting and rewarding political journey and charged them to remain committed and steadfast. He sued for the support of everyone for the M.O.R.E. Agenda of the state government in order to fast track its actualization, pointing out the pockets of evidences across the state to justify the sincerity of the governor in developing the entire state despite the long months of distractions from the opposition with the several court cases initiated against the victory of the governor at the last election. He called for unwavering support for the governor, His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, the deputy governor, His Excellency, Sir Monday Onyeme, and our immediate past governor and national leader, His Excellency, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa.
The meeting, in unanimity, passed a vote of confidence on the governor, His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, the deputy governor, His Excellency, Sir Monday Onyeme, the national leader and immediate past governor, His Excellency, Senator(Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, the PDP leader in Ndokwa East LGA, Chief Godswill Obielum and elder statesman, Chief Emmanuel Onyeuku following a motion proposed by Engr Eloka Alumona from Aboh, Ward 5.
