The Obidient Movement has expressed joy and gratitude as Dele Farotimi, a key figure in their ranks, reunites with his family in Lagos after meeting bail conditions that had kept him away from his loved ones.
In a statement by Dr. Tanko Yunusa, National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, Farotimi’s release was hailed as a victory for truth, resilience, and justice.
“Today, we rejoice as our brother, Dele Farotimi, has finally reunited with his family. His return is a testament to the unyielding spirit of truth and resilience that defines our movement,” Yunusa stated.
He acknowledged the collective efforts of the legal team, supporters, and advocates who worked tirelessly to ensure Farotimi’s release. “To everyone who played a critical role in securing his release, we extend our heartfelt gratitude. Your unwavering commitment to justice has not gone unnoticed,” he said.
The statement also praised Mr. Peter Obi, former presidential candidate and leader of the Obidient Movement, for his steadfast support and dedication to justice.
“Special appreciation goes to our father and leader, Mr. Peter Obi, whose commitment to justice and the rule of law continues to inspire the Obidient Movement. His leadership reminds us why we stand firm in our pursuit of a better and fairer Nigeria,” Yunusa added.
The Obidient Movement reaffirmed its resolve to uphold the values of justice, equity, and freedom while ensuring that no voice is silenced in their quest for a new Nigeria.
“Together, we will continue to uphold the values that define us. Let us remain united in our journey toward a brighter future for our nation,” Yunusa concluded.
