Director-General of Delta State Bureau for Communications and Orientation, Dr. Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe has described the rising political profile of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori as a positive development for Delta State, emphasizing that good leadership drives economic prosperity.
In a New Year goodwill message, Oghenesivbe praised the governor’s achievements, noting that his detribalized leadership style and commitment to the MORE Agenda have earned him respect both within and outside the state.
“Governor Oborevwori is a pragmatic leader whose governance style has placed Delta on a progressive path. His rising profile is a clear indication that good politics drives sustainable development,” Oghenesivbe said.
According to Oghenesivbe, the governor’s achievements in less than two years have made him a “political bride” in national politics. He highlighted ongoing infrastructure projects across the state, noting that the governor’s focus on delivering development would silence critics.
“Year 2025 will be a significant milestone in Delta’s history as Governor Oborevwori completes mega projects that will turn his detractors into his greatest supporters,” Oghenesivbe noted.
The Bureau Chief referenced the governor’s legal victories in 38 court cases, describing him as “God’s project” and urging him to maintain his current trajectory ahead of the 2027 election year
“It is no secret that Governor Oborevwori is divinely led. His commitment to good governance and bridge-building across political divides will continue to advance Delta State beyond 2027,” he added.
Oghenesivbe prayed for continued wisdom and inspiration for the governor, saying, “Your rising profile is good for Delta and its people. Good politics enhances development and prosperity. We are proud of your leadership.
