The Association of Maritime Journalists of Nigeria (AMJON) has congratulated the Controller General of Nigeria Customs Service Bashir Adewale Adeniyi on his recent election as the Chairperson of the World Customs Organisation during its meeting in Brussels, Belgium. The association in the letter signed by its President, Mr Kelvin Kagbara, described the CGC Adeniyi’s elevation to the prestigious position of the 187-member apex global Customs policy-making organisation, as ‘deserving’.
