The Governor of Delta state, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, has ordered the Police and other security agencies in the state to hunt down the killers of President of Anti-Cult Volunteer Corps in the state, Mr Austyne Emu. The governor gave the order in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Olisa Ifeajika, in Asaba. The governor in the statement, condemned the gruesome murder of Emu, describing it as barbaric and irresponsible. Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has on Tuesday, received his wife, Shilekunola Naomi, and son, prince Tadenikawo, into the palace after 21-day rites. President Muhammadu Buhari through his minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, SAN, has directed Mallam Abubakar Nuhu Fikpo to take over as the Acting Director-General of the National Directorate of Employment(NDE). The Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) candidate in the Lagos East Senatorial District bye election, Babatunde Olalere Gbadamosi (BOG), has expressed dissatisfaction over the results released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the Saturday poll.
