Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has reaffirmed his commitment to delivering transformative projects across the state, as his administration prepares to mark its second year anniversary. The Governor made this declaration during the maiden State Executive Council meeting for 2025, held at the Exco Chamber, Government House, Asaba.
Governor Oborevwori emphasized that his administration has lined up numerous high-impact projects across the three senatorial districts, urging Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) to expedite the process of awarding contracts for these projects. This move is in line with his administration’s MORE Agenda, which prioritizes meaningful development, infrastructure growth, and enhanced social harmony.
“We are committed to touching every senatorial district and local government area, with significant investments in infrastructure development,” Governor Oborevwori stated. “Our goal is to make Deltans happy, and we are working tirelessly to achieve this objective.”
The Governor noted that the dry season presents an opportune time to accelerate infrastructure development, and he is optimistic that numerous projects will be inaugurated during his administration’s second year anniversary.
As Governor Oborevwori’s administration continues to drive growth and development in Delta State, his commitment to transparency, accountability, and people-centered governance remains unwavering.¹
