It has just been announced that veteran Yoruba Nollywood actor, Baba Suwe has died. Point News247 reports that famous Yoruba actor, Babatunde Omidina, well known as Baba Suwe is dead. Baba Suwe gave up the ghost on Monday after a long battle with a yet to be confirmed illness. The prolific actor who born on August 22, 1958, was married to comedienne Omoladun Omidina, who died in September 2009. Point News247 reports that the Lagos State government has announced the temporary closure of stadium Flyover. The Lagos State government says there will be a traffic diversion in the Surulere area of the state as a result of repairs on the stadium flyover. Commissioner for Transportation, Dr Frederic Oladeinde in a statement said the flyover will not be operational between November 19 and December 24. Oladeinde said the repairs at the flyover would be in phases. Lagos State Government has approved 135 private health facilities for the administration of the COVID-19 vaccine. The state Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, in a statement on Sunday, said the number of public and private vaccination sites in Lagos State.
